Lynn has stage 4 cancer, and her dog Lady had developed a very large and painful bladder stone. Lynn is very low income. She had brought Lady to a clinic that didn’t provide her with any treatment or pain control when Lynn was out of money after paying for the exam and

x-rays. They came to one of our public clinics at Renton Library, where we provided Lady with vaccinations, pain control, and a prescription urinary diet. We were able to connect them with a local clinic that was willing to provide Lady with lifesaving surgery free of cost, and we did her pre-op bloodwork, as well as gave Lady rides to and from her surgery appointment. Both Lynn and Lady are feeling much better now, and continue to visit us for prescription food and just to catch up.
